Summary of Warranties
Warranted against manufacturing defects:
- Shaw Hard Surface warrants its heterogeneous sheet, heterogeneous tile, and homogeneous sheet to be free from manufacturing defects for ten years from the date of purchase. (Specialty flooring is warranted for five years.)
- Limited wear warranty on heterogeneous sheet, heterogeneous tile, and homogeneous sheet to be free from manufacturing defects for ten years from the date of purchase. (Not applicable to specialty flooring products.)
- Specialty flooring, Static Pulse ESD Tile is warranted against manufacturing defects for five years. ESD Conductive Tile will meet requirements of ASTM F-150 and ESD 7.1 in effect at the time of installation and that the Static Dissipative Tile will have an average resistance to ground of 1,000,000 ~ 100,000,000 when measured according to ASTM F-150 or ESD 7.1.
Workmanship
- Shaw does not warrant installers’ workmanship. Workmanship errors should be addressed with the contractor who installed the floor.
- Your Shaw Hard Surface product should be professionally installed by contractors who have demonstrated expertise in installing resilient floors.
- Your Shaw Hard Surface product must be installed correctly over a properly prepared sub-floor.
- Your Shaw Hard Surface product must be regularly and properly maintained.
